Enhance your team's ability to communicate clearly and strategically across cultures and contexts with the VAuLT intercultural communication module. This interactive training engages participants in critical thinking and learning to overcome common communication barriers.


Through VAuLT, participants will gain awareness and capacity for: 



  • Understanding cultural expectations related to communication choices

  • Recognizing personal and team communication preferences

  • Overcoming communication blunders that may hinder progress on cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

  • Improving collaboration and decision-making speed and effectiveness across international teams and contexts by addressing how cultural dispositions influence cross-cultural communication


The immersive experience reveals hidden cultural communication patterns related to four central concepts: power, social distance (the closeness of speakers), imposition (the severity of the communicative context), and politeness (e.g., group vs. individual orientation). Participants will deconstruct these patterns to gain functional language skills for real-world collaboration and decision-making. Wraparound activities will support participants in applying the four central concepts to their everyday work contexts. This training will equip you and your team to manage differing cultural norms, enhance communication across contexts, and better meet collaborators’ and customers’ needs.
