Building Inclusive Schools Through Skillful Communication

The diversity of schools today is a strength and should be celebrated. However, diversity can be difficult to manage as an educator because every educator and learner brings a unique set of communication norms and preferences to the learning environment. This workshop will empower participants to navigate these preferences with skill and empathy.

Join us July 23-25 in Eugene, Oregon for an unforgettable experiential professional development opportunity centered around communicating effectively with learners from all backgrounds. Through our focus on communication, we will support educators across subject areas in harnessing their abilities to skillfully communicate with learners from diverse socioeconomic and linguistic contexts. This communication results in more collaborative and effective learning environments for all. Educators, administrators, and other K-12 leaders are invited to attend.

Requests must be received by 4 p.m. (Pacific Time) of the date listed below as the deadline.

Written cancellation requests received on or before the Monday four weeks prior to the institute start date are eligible for a refund minus $50 processing fee per participant for each canceled institute. See exact dates below.
Cancellations received on or before the Monday two weeks prior to the institute start date will be charged $100. See exact dates below.

No refunds will be granted after the Monday two weeks prior to the institute start date.
